Can you get me the s/n of the ripper? Should be on a tag on the RH end of the ripper beam.
Should be a 22M1-up number if it is original 9D ripper.

I will get that to you later today...

I have been searching for a straight exhaust pipe curved at the top (Black). I know the inside diameter is 6 inches. I cannot find one and have searched the web google and eBay... I cannot find a part number either... I see them on other d9g but cannot find them... Anybody able to help with where to buy from would be great....Thank you

True, if the Dipstick Tube goes down far enough into the oil pan that it is in the oil?

I don't think that's necessary. I've seen everything from D8T dozers to my New Holland tractor with frozen crank case ventilator froze off and spew oil out either the filler tube or the dipstick tube it they were separate. First time it happened on my NH tractor it blew the rear seals out and pushed oil through the turbo and ruined the dpf system. Then they gave me a vented oil filler cap so next time it happened it blew the oil out there and made a terrible mess. At 40 below you get the good experiences

Thanks Old Magnet: Ordered it and will be here in 2 business days... Paint it up with some black high exhaust heat paint and then she will look proper.... Now on to figuring out the ripper cylinder numbers. On my way to get it meaning the serial number...

OK, I have the parts manual for the ripper (single shank). Will post the parts diagrams Friday AM. What's the 9S160 number?
I show a 9S1605 as being the part number for the s/n tag.

You are correct as I gave you everything on the ripper serial tag. The bottom right of the tag showed that #.

The ripper Serial # is 97L875
