Will the governor defuel on this particular pump without oil pressure? I thought I read that somewhere back in this thread. I wonder if somethings up with that when I was reading about how George had no fuel bleeding at full throttle but did when fuel shut down. That strikes me as very weird.

Dizzel, thank you so much and all those others that have been there for the last 3 months as I posted my first post.... Some I scared away others I frustrated them but still they came back and helped the best they could. The good the bad but it was one hell of a learning experience...

Just to share with you the prior owner had 2 Caterpillar mechanics out to work on her over 5 times... He ran out of time and money and thought she would run but thought she might need an engine...

Take A Look at the video and see for yourself.... I got her running and I am on cloud 9....... Sorry in advance for the profanity.....

well done there Mate--admire your perseverance and she sounds "sweet as" once you got the first cylinders to kick in and up the RPM's. to bring in the rest of 'em.

Now we await the full story on how you got fuel to keep flowing to the injectors and then for her to fire off on it and keep going.

Definitely you and your F-I-L have earned a beer or three or a beverage of choice.
