When you take the primary fuel filter can off you should have a steady full stream of fuel coming out.
If you don't go to the back and look under the fuel tank for 2 shut off valves, take the fuel line off and see if you have a full stream of fuel.
if you don't find a pipe plug the same size as the valve and remove it.
Take a wire and run it up in the tank till you get fuel then put in plug and clean out valve ,turn it off and put it back in.
hook every thing back up turn and valve on.
now prime fuel system and give it a try.

Correct. no pictures of that end of my unit but there are 2 or 3 tap outlets with fittings on them. Only 1 is connected.
George, did you end up changing the gasket in the primary fuel filter?

If something is blocking the outlet of the tank or a fuel line, it doesn't matter if the tank is ten foot above the injection pump. He just wants to get this thing started to get it home. He also told me the fuel line had a kink in it but was not too bad. The key word in your statement was (SHOULD).the entire fuel system on this tractor is below the top of the fuel tank ,in fact every think up to the injection pump is below the bottom of the tank.
So it should be self bleeding.
If you have ever seen one you would know this and not have all of these homeowner fixes to suggest.
What funny is they just sold a D9G at Ritchies here for 5000 USD,u-blade rippers, cab and a good under carriage and it runs.

Kracked1---we are discussing the fuel screen on the drain valve and not the fuel line valve----My d3B has a 4 inch high riser in side the tank above the fuel line valve
