well it seems we had a breakdown in commutation the old man thought based on condition the price my go up or down .
since we didnt really have hand shake on it an it seems to be a good machine needing some minor repairs
we renegotiated the price

i went up 500 dollars to 2k .thats still a good deal and everybody is happy
he also said he has some manuels and paperwork to go with it

so all in all not a wasted day made some progress ,the machine runs strong

That's standard coupling for the transmission/engine on all 977 20A's. They are all oil clutch.

things are not always as they seem

i had a guy lined up to move this machine after waiting on him for 4 days ,Today was the last day i could move it
so i told him that he said he would not be able to move it today but no reason .i shot him back a message i was going to look around and try and find someone who could do it today

he just replied ok

so that was that

we called Taylor hauling ,told them what we had they said they would be out in about 2 hrs with a lowboy ,and they were right on time
we cranked the machine ran it down the hill and onto the lowboy no problem .he hooked back up to the trailer and had to back out about a quarter of a mile it was a tight road 7 ton bridge on the other side so had to back up
mostly all houses on this road no turnarounds

here are some pics of the move

good going!! 2 lane bridges are posted for a weight limit in each direction at the same time--and if a short span has 30% added for impact so if you go slow and down the middle of the bridge you may get across without damaging the bridge--depending on your weight!
