ok here we go i got the batterys hooked up and the engine was free i bumped it a couple times and she went i turned the compression release and she spun free and oil pressure came up into operating range
everything looked good water in the radiator oil full and good oil pressure

so thats where the video starts for the first start i hit it with some starting fluid into the air breather that was full of red wasps but it fired any way after a lick or two
i blew a hydraulic hose on the lifting cyl im heading back over to get the new one back on

Doesn't that always amaze you when;
"Its been sitting 20 years"
And it starts right up with minimal screwing around! :amen:

well i got it running as yall seen

the guy i bought it from told me 1500.00 an its yours like it sits i agreed , it could have been scrap for all i knew
now the machine is running and operating and hes saying its worth more .and i guess it is but we already agreed on a price

i think i should stick with the agreed price , if he wants to sell it for more to somebody else i think he should pay me for my time
and parts i have about 2 big truck battery's a 200 dollar hydraulic line and about 7 or 8 hours worth of time on this machine

what says the ACMOC

If you at least shook hands on it then its a done deal, a mans word should be his bond, back in the day a hand shake was as good as a contract. Would have been better to have a written agreement "sold as is where is" Paid him, deal done.

I agree with Rome. If you agreed on a price then that's that. What did he expect? You had to get it running to get it out of there, and in doing such, yes it is worth more but only because of the money and effort YOU put into it.

Hind sight being what it is. If you'd have paid he right then and there, it wouldn't be an issue. Hopefully he'll stand up to his end. I'd get it out of there ASAP however.

My .02, it's worth what you paid for it.

Good luck.
