Want to washout these compartments bellow steering clutches and get the gunk out. How or where is the drain plug for them?

on the underside of machine are for each side one small drainplug.
Thank you.
Small. Hmm. I'll see what I can scrape out w/ a long rod.
Found a washer on the left side.

it is recommanded in the operations book of the tractor to wash the steering clutch cases if cluthes were slipping ( by oil that worked in to them from bevel gear or final gears)
to clean them (according the book):
drain oil from transmission and final drives
pour 1 gallon kerosine or gasoline in each steering case
operate tractor fort and back without disengaging steering clutches (to avoid grease or oil work in them)
drain this baths
replace plugs
fill second time with 1 gallon each side
tie back both steering clutche levers
with engine running and gears in low speed allow cltches to revolve 5 minutes
remove plugs
keep clutches disengaged for several hours to let them dry
refil transmission and finals again.

Frank,
I have a hard time getting my float to work correctly and not leak. I have put a rebuild kit in it and tinkered a good deal. Basically, after I open the tank valves, the chamber fills up and starts overflowing. I take a screwdriver handle and tap the bowl which usually reseats the needle valve and it then works fine. They are very temperamental.
