So she struggled to get to 10PSI. Like it took a full minute to get there. TPump is off and I'll go though it.

10 pounds might be normal spec, hopefully someone smarter than me will chime in here soon before you pull that all apart.

Too late. Here is one picture. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong with the pictures, but I can only upload one at a time. It was pretty nasty in there but the gears looked good. Less than .001 wear on the endplate. I did not pull the driveshaft and I'm hoping that doesn't come back to bite me, but we just want to get it running right now. I will give the spring a bit of stretch and see how it goes. Hopefully it's not snowing tomorrow.

Today I talked to the new owner of the property where it's sitting and I still have a month before they close, but we would rather drive it off than drag it off.

Here is the second picture. The first one is where the Pressure relief valve sits, the other is suction.

My D2's transfer pump doesn't register on the fuel pressure gauge when cranking and barely is in the white when running, but it still seems to have usable power. I had it on the Baker fan last year and it seemed to do ok. I'm sure if I lapped that opening that really rusted in your pictures I'd get a bit more pressure reading. All of that is to say, clean it up as best you can and it might just be ok.

Cheers,
Neil

Most definitely! I binged his rebuild on 5j1113 and have learned a lot. But I just went through the series and haven't looked around for other relevant videos. I need to do that.

Yep. Thank you so much for the videos. I have been through your efforts on 5J1113, with the fuel system watched twice. That's how I know what I need to do if we decide to reseal the pump driveshaft. First step: re-rewatch the video. When I reassembled the pump, I used John Deere plastic gasket on the surfaces. I also made an injector puller but I couldn't leave it unpainted.

So the cleaned up TPump is on and no change in base fuel pressure. I pulled #4 injector and it's squirting, but I held a blue paper shop towel across the end of the injector and I expected it to blow a hole in it, but it just made it wet. Maybe this is normal for this vintage, but I was expecting it to blow a hole in the towel. I put my hand over the open injector hole and it was blowing out pretty good, but I couldn't give you a number of how much pressure.
