Some more info.....
That grey stuff could be from a failed rear crankshaft baffle/seal.
Okay going out now to remover pump... My luck would say it is the crankshaft baffle seal...

On the oil seal....they are a very finicky install and operation.
Consists of a fixed outer baffle, and a piston ring type seal that runs in the crankshaft thrower groove.
In theory it's a combination of seal and labyrinth arrangement but not the best design for the application.
The piston/seal ring depends on hoop tension to hold the ring gap in a vertical and stationary position against the outer baffle while riding in the rotating thrower groove. Any upset in alignment, burrs, nicks or installation errors causes the ring to rotate along with the thrower and soon wears a groove in the baffle and subsequent failure to seal.

Hi, Folks.
In spite of the sadness of the sick sounding engine, I found it amusing that the operator spent the entire 1.59 minutes of the video moving around and yet achieving ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Hi, Rome K/G.
I susoect that those people don't know a whole lot about machines and they're just happy that it is making noise. I think the first thing I'd be looking at is the air filter. A blocked air filter will make 'em smoke like that too.
Just my 0.02.

Air Cleaner or Bunker Fuel.
I would guess it doesn't have a very high grade of fuel in it...…..
