Well I tell you Tim, it's fought me every step of the way but I'm so grateful for all the help you've provided over the years. I don't think I'd be nearly as far along without it. I suspect the right side final might be slightly easier because looking in the brake access hole, the chamber's full of grease or somesuch so hopefully I won't have to replace everything, although I'm definitely going to do both hubs along with the clutch plates, because it makes the clutch operation so smooth it's like power steering.

Ha, yes it is - first prize to you! I told my wife I did that just to see if it would fit. I wish I could have video'd her eyebrow as it slowly gained elevation...
I have to take that track frame back off again to refurb - I put it on so's I could turn the tractor around to work on the right side - so I have a second chance to get it right : )

Got the right side master pin out without damage. I have new plugs for it and managed to salvage one of the originals so it's reusable. Extracted two of the four bolts holding the pivot shaft cover on - two more to go with some heavy heating tomorrow. My 17t OTC 938 isn't moving the sprocket so I have a 20t ram coming which will hopefully be enough. It's a matter of the ram being thin enough to fit between the pulling bolts that screw into the sprocket. I'll remove the track frame tomorrow and then start working on getting the final assembly off.

I'm sure that adjuster nut will buff up nicely....

Well, I cranked it pretty tight with a 24" crescent. Didn't stand on it but did push down with, I suppose, 150#. I'll tinker with it some more when Mother's car is out of the way. I'm sure two 5/8-11 Grade 8 bolts are good for 20t!
