That’s good news. I’m glad it was something you could fix without a lot of disassembly.

I know what you mean about dodging the rain. We’ve been getting some most every day as well. It’s got all the crops growing but the weeds are growing too. I need a few days every week to try to catch up with spraying before the pig weeds get too big.

well i did some work yesterday on the project property dug 3 holes to burn stuff in and covered and finished graded one burn pile

about 5 hours all in all good day the loader ran good except i snagged the fuel bowl with a tree limb i need some covers made for the sides of the engine . it didnt have any when i got the machine

im not a master at digging holes its a learning curve i tipped the bucket maybe 30 degrees and started in when the rear of the track dropped in i was pulling up on the loader arms to cut about 6 or 8 inches of dirt with a little adjustment i could keep it digging
for a bit and get a nice full bucket of dirt

first hole was only about 1.5 feet deep but that was ok most of the trees had burned up .it was good enough

second hole needed to be a lil deeper and was also 2 buckets wide and about 2.5 ft deep i have stuff to burn there
its in the middle of a hay field so i thought the hole would keep the heat from radiating into the hay

the 3rd hole was 3 buckets wide and 3.5 to 4 ft deep about 20 to 25 feet long. this pile was the biggest and was really to close to the wood line to burn at its current size it took a lil bit to bust it up and push it into the hole to burn .

i didnt burn any that day , the forcast said rain and they were clouds but no rain at my spot that day . i have more work to do over there and ill get some pictures when i go back . i just needed to make some progress on that job form rain delays to repairs and my normal job with the covid 19 Chinese virus we hav had a crazy schedule and i havent been able to do any dirt work for a couple weeks .

shoot it was good digging again and running the diesel and digging in the dirt over all a good day thanks all

im still at it

currently digging up some concrete i need to bury it but im not sure how deep to dig the hole

going to try and make it 1 layer and then cover it up . but in this spot it needs to grow grass

ive seen areas where a septic tank was buried and the grass would die off in the summer

anybody have any quick advice on this

Deeper than a Plow or Ripper that my someday pass through there? Typically 2 feet of dirt over the top is plenty!

hey guys 

i have a chance to acquire a cat 3208 reman engine . it came out of a big forklift at work they destroyed the transmission  its been in the lift for about 7 or 8 years used occasionally  maybe at the most once a month .anyway i may be able to pick it up for cheap like scrap price or maybe cheaper . it ran good always crunk up 
and had plenty of power . what do you guys think about putting this into a 1 ton truck  i kinow its heavy and will prolly need a couple turbos to make any power
i just thought it was cool .
