Could also be firing off leaked lube oil instead of diesel fuel which kind of goes along with the blue smoke.
Will pull e-manifold 1st. What can be done about stuck rings????

70* 2day, 3 minute vid showing no.3 the worst, running without manifold.
At first I have the engine at a higher rpm, then i go round and back throttle down towards idle. Thats when the most smoke is seen. No. 3 the worst, then no.4. None of the ports were wet.

That puff when you idled down almost looked like valve seal leakage as you'd see on a gas engine, but that happens partly due to the vacuum when closing the gas engine throttle, which you don't have here. What's the liquid that appears to be coming from the stud holes?

Its oil best i can tell coming from the threaded bores.(engine was warmed up)
Just minimal amount from the static area beyond the end of stud i assume.

How oily are the exhaust passages?
By sight they all looked dry black soot, no.3 had the most dry looking residue compare to the others. I didn't rub my finger in the ports, 2me the ports kinda thinking/looked running rich, this black look could be from running it sunday 8 hrs with 15kw load on it. Didn't have black smoke out the exhaust sunday.
edit, tomorrow i'll rub my finger in the port residue and see if its wet. I looked hard up into the passages, they looked dry. I'm gonna go towards the injector capsules next.
