These bearings seem to be no longer available from CAT. Have they changed part number or is there a common bearing interchange number? I note these originals are RBC bearings but they don’t numbers on, just Made In USA RBC on the outer plates. I think with evaporust and grease they’ll function fine but I’ve found some NOS cranks 3B-0292 which if I use I‘d like new bearings for. Bearing part numbers are 3B-0568, with outer race 3B-0567. Or bearing assembly no. 3B-0569. Thanks.

Hi Deebo,
The bearing number changes to 1B3756, the roller bearing number is 95416, as i am going through this too with my trans cover , ad OM said it is a poor system as they get no lubrication at all. I am looking at getting oil inpregnated bronze bushes to replace them as 8 are required.

I did the same thing on my D2. I took the bearing to my local bearing house and they had matching bearings in stock.

The new Cat bearings have smaller rollers and use a thicker bushing in the case.

Thanks guys that’s all really helpful. Does the CAT no. include the race or is it just the bearing? If not what’s the new part no. for the race. Regards,

Tony

I posted these as stand alone posts on the 06/21/20--seems I waste my time doing this stuff--I simply used the Advanced Search function to find them.

You people need to take heed that one day you may need this stuff so, simply save it to your computers for future reference and so save yourselves some time and trouble.

That's what I'm doing Eddie; anything you post I save. Once the new software is in place, I'll send a flash drive to IT and have them upload it all.
