Hi All,

Look what i found when i removed the cross shaft!

Now i have a challange to find a crown wheel, as for the pinion it is in excellent condition, it must of been changed out when it was rebuilt.

The next job will be to remove the gears from the box, then i can wash out the rear end.

Regards

Daryl

Good work Daryl. I get all down when I see how busted up my D4s are but then someone like you comes around and just gets to it, bringing home an restoring old gals in far poorer shape. I just flushed out my 7U but it didnt have nearly the kibbles and bits in the bottom of the case. Thankfully the pinion and crown wheel were ok. Keep up the good work!
