install a filter between the tank and the transfer pump--thats what i had to do to capture all the crud in my tank

Hi Team,
well done finding a kinked hose--crud will accumulate at the kink and slowly block off the flow which is a symptom you have.
As your filters are coming off dirty in a short time it is evidence that crud is still in your fuel tank even after you attempted to clean it.
Did you have the tank off the machine to wash it out? As you can only wash in/out via the filler neck as it is the only large hole to do such--if so then crud can get sprayed around and so stick to an upper tank surface that the filler neck is on and go back into the fuel when re-filled as the fuel sloshing about takes place during operation.

I would suggest that you get a length of garden hose with a 30 Degree cut across the end and start siphoning fuel from the bottom of the tank, all the while moving it about the bottom of the tank like a vacuum cleaner and run the fuel into an open bucket to see if you are pulling out an crud--if so keep at it until fuel is clear--maybe repeat after each 4 hours of operating until clean.

Dirty fuel is an enemy of these high pressure Unit Injectors so be vigilant and pedantic with your fuel handling and filtering.
Dirty fuel erodes the finely fitted components especially the plunger helix and its port drilling along with the injector nozzle spray holes that when worn give poor a spray pattern that can damage piston crowns, poor fuel economy, etc.

Ya, I had the tank off and flushed it for a solid hour, maybe even 2, the filter was cruddy because it was on the machine prior to the tank flush, i checked the screen in the banjo bolt after running it for a little bit and saw no buildup on that so I'm hoping I got a majority of the crud out.

I did that vacuuming also but hard to get the hose in all the bottom spots of the tank---i open my drain valve before each use and still get a bit of rust sediment particles out each time

Hi Team,
just adding to what I said above in that it should be realized that filter life on these Unit Injection Systems is short with dirty fuel.
The new filters filter to something like 2 to 4 microns, with the older Injection systems the filters were something like 8 to 10 microns if I recall correctly--I stand to be corrected.
Thus I suggest you have a small stock of filters on hand and expect to change them more regularly than you are used to.
