Before spending thousands on a new pump you might be better off running some tests. If the pump has enough pressure to lift the machine smoothly and is not making any unusual noises (which may be hard to tell) it might not need replacing. I would get someone to do a pressure and flow rate check on the pump.
If you already have the pump out then pull it apart and do a visual inspection of the vanes and the cam ring. If you do pull it apart make sure you keep everything clean. Hydraulics do not like contaminants.
From what I have read in this thread and your other valve thread, it sounds like the pump is not the problem.

Unless it is just reflections in the photos, the ring appears to be shot. The vanes appear to be pretty good compared to the ring.

yes that is quite worn. here is a web site with some listings www.costex.com/vane-pump-cartridges/

bad bearings would allow it to chatter and wear like that.

try your local hydraulics shop they might be able to help you. its worth the ask anyway and you'll atleast get a qualified opinion is it knackered or serviceable.

I agree with D4Jim. Unless the vertical lines in the ring are from the lighting or from where the vanes have been resting then it will need replacing. Looking at the rest of the pump it appears to be in good condition. It is hard to tell from looking at photos but if you can't feel any grooves in the ring then it should be usable.

The brass side plates are shot! thats where you loose pressure when those get grooved.
