I as Director and President of ACMOC have to take full responsibility for any failures of the running of the Club, as such I apologize to any members who have been having trouble placing orders and or contacting the store. If members are having problems I ask you to please contact a Director by email or phone so that they may follow up and try and resolve the problem, these contact details are listed in every magazine.
The last few years have been a difficult time with Covid etc, unfortunately not everything has worked as well as it should, we are not perfect and sometimes have failures, I do apologize for these failures and will work harder to prevent further occurrences. The most recent problem was clearing messages from the phone via a laptop, this did not occur due to the need to also clear the trash can on the laptop. We believe this is now all working as it should, if not, please let me know.
I have called two of the Members who were having problems and apologized, I will call them again next week when I have had more time to verse myself with the issues.
The Club has undergone significant restructuring over the last three years and there is need for further significant restructuring, I know at times this will cause some inconvenience to some Members, the BoD endeavors to.do these changes with minimal inconvenience to Members enjoyment of the hobby, the store is an area we need to look at closely going forward, to make it more functional, stocked with goods that meet the needs of the Members, and return a profit to assist in the operations of the Club.

I am a relatively new member who has one CAT machine that was given to me a couple of years ago. I am a true hobbyist rather than a professional like many of the members. To me ACMOC is a place to go to get advice from experienced folks who enjoy giving it, a place for technical information, and a place to go to meet new friends. The store is a cool place to visit and I have bought a few things from the store. The only person from the officers or "professionals" that I have ever spoken to was Mary and Mary did a wonderful job for me as far as taking care of the issues and selling me the few things I have bought. The magazine is wonderful, great resource, and quite entertaining at times. When encountering issues with a club, one must remember that a club is for the most part operated by volunteers who donate their time to help the club. The store is nice but if it is a problem, do away with it. A nicely run organization is great, but the reason for a club is the people. The people who willingly give of themselves to help others. I hope as I learn more, I can be a help too! Thank you all for helping me! Elton Wright, Roanoke, VA

I ordered a book and just received it in less than a weeks time! Great job ! Not happy with what I hear from other members about some of the poor service that they have gotten from the club concerning memberships and merchandise from the store. The membership  is Not happy !!!!! This sounds like the old days returning.

Happy for you Jim. Perhaps the new "assistant" has made a big difference. My own personal experience has been mixed, but any issues were remedied within weeks of my inquiry/reminder. The best way to retain a customer is to make them happy...
The next question would be how long does the new person/helper stay on payroll, or will they eventually use the "club" as a storefront and have a third party do the actual sales and shipping? How far away is the current warehouse from the office? Can anyone tell me when shipping is supposed to be done? Any set days? Random? JM
