Go by the specs listed in the front of the Service Manual (page 6) 150 ft-lbs
I believe that is a typo at 200 ft-lbs which is the torque for the D315/D318 (1-1/8" thread)
The D311 is 1" thread)

OM,
OK, I had the pre comps to 150#, thankfully I did not need to go to 200#, I was getting close on indexing for the glow plugs and fuel lines. I went back and got the injector nuts all to 100#. I need to read and re read the manual more carefully next time I do something like this. This is my first time trying to do a rebuild. Thanks Again for all your help. Gary
