I found the pictures I have of the IH scraper and 46A in Twizel but I failed to take a shot of the D8's serial # plate. It has an angle blade and a two shank ripper that doesn't look like a Cat attachment. Anyhoo, here are some photos.

Also, since we're talking South Island, I pulled into that tractor museum in Geraldine and was surprised at how extensive it is and that it has a couple of rarer beasts like a Fowler VF and a MAN fwa tractor. Some photos of the Cats they have, this time with serial numbers of the ones that I had access to.

Twenty-Two - 1J2196WSP - D.W. Houston, Timaru. This was one of five consecutively numbered machines, all WSPs, that Goughs imported
Twenty-Two - 2F7341 - L.N. Gould, Fairlie
No serial #s for the Ten or Fifteen unfortunately, but I have the list of what they could be if you ever pass through there__PRESENT
