Thank you Old Magnet for posting the maintenance book pic.Saved me finding it and scanning it. That is an interesting idea about removing the studs.I would have to take two out. Does anyone know if the studs are removable? Just turning the nuts to loosen the heads is a chore. I can't find a good source for the injector or i would just cut the side tube off and spin it out. Once out I feel that I could separate the injector from the nut. Anyone have a source?

Try these places....

Removing studs can have its own problems. I don't believe there's enough thread protruding to do the two nut removal without removing the head.

Does anyone know how to determine which of the six part numbers listed for the injector nozel are correct for my motor? Are they at all interchangeable?

Hi,
scan below should help.
D13000 is a 5.75" Bore engine.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Some nozzles set in the head and are clamped and some are set in and held with an external threaded nut.

Sounds like the pre chamber is screwing out with the injector.
In that case cutting the stem off the injector may be your only option.
Removing the head wont really help.
Should be plenty of injector bodies around . If necessary your old injector can be dismantled and working parts fitted to another body
