The problem with the google portion is most people that have an issue with an old cat will google it. They will then be linked to the ACMOC forum but the relevant posts will not open. If the point is to attract new members and preserve the data this new website missed the mark. Or maybe I just need to be patient.

Yes, it'll take a bit of time for goggle to catalog the new site, and also some time for the old goggle references to acquiesce - I'm not sure how long that takes without intervention but every time you click on a link from goggle that no longer links to content, my understanding is that goggle will trim that link from its list

I may be incorrect but I think the thread that Grant may have been looking for is "Pony rebuild in progress" started 03/04/2014 by Jw74, instead of Pony Carb rebuild. That thread comes up but only the original opening post by Jw74, nothing else. It has more info on a pony rebuild than just the carb. Glad to hear that it is not lost and hope Neil can locate it. Sounds like things just need more time to get settled with this new site. When doing the advanced search by date it is pretty goofy trying to get the correct date entered. You can not just enter the date and it is difficult to figure out how to get the date in the correct format. The callendar that comes up has the year but you have to guess on which month. Perhaps I just do not know what I am doing yet.

Thanks for that info Bruce, I wasn't aware of the date issue. We'll take a look at that

Messed around with the date input on the advanced search feature some more and got it figured out Neil. Format is with the year first. Click on the day in the calendar and the month and day also shows up behind the year. I was just a little slow in figuring out. The Calendar does not show the month. Not a big deal. Just have to arrow back or forward until the month you want shows up,

Thanks Bruce, it should really show the month as soon as you click in the field so we'll see what's going on with it.
