Due to the pending ACMOC forum upgrade i have no idea how much or little i will be able to do after the upgrade goes ahead .So i suggest replies would be best before the end of the month .

A question for you then John . Now you are an ACMOC director , are you working on disbanding the Links club to bring them all back to chapter two ? Or are they happy now to be independent from ACMOC Having them all back would be a big boost to the ACMOC bank balance .
I am guessing they will stay as Links club for their own reasons ,as i have my reasons not to rejoin .

Cat 10 Early Bronze BEV Carb is the 1st on the list. NOTE: All Cat-Cave Manifolds and other parts are all Back to Factory Blue-Print Data.. BUT, Due to the Carbs being manufactured Via an outside supplier. REVERSE ENGINEERING from 3 good samples is where we are at.
Phase 1. Cleaning and polishing up Good Samples, Fit Bushes to any worn Shaft Holes, Remake new Shafts and Flaps etc .

Phase 2, Working back to Blue Print (Drawn Up at Cat-Cave). Manufacture the Moulding Tooling required to finish up with a casting plus machining and shrinkage to go back to the Blue Print.
Phase 3. Machine up the casting's in machining fixtures, De-Burr etc . Final Inspection to Blue before being passed off as good to go.
Phase 4. Assemble and FIT the Parts using Gaskets and Screws etc.

I believe after the Cat ten run is completed , Then other Cat model Carbs will follow .
So , if people need carbs for other model tractors ,post up so we can gauge the amount of interest .

What kind of “expression of interest “ are you looking for?
I’m a little confused how the phases figure into that expression. Is that just your planned development approach or are you proposing to deliver carbs at these 4 levels of completion?
1) I’m interested in either a full carb or a parts kit.
2) what would they cost shipped to California?

Good to see you edited the post . When i read it yesterday , i could not make heads or tails of what you were trying to say .
The way it normally works . Cost is not known until they are basically made .
The more people wanting them , the cheaper the final price is .
It will not be cheap . but then it will not be overpriced with a huge profit margin .
Unfortunately there is usually tyre kickers that say they want one , but when the time comes to put their hands in their pocket their arms get short and can't reach their wallets .
Just looked on Ebay , here in Australia . A new 350 Holley carby can cost nearly a thousand dollars .Plenty of them advertised . But no brand new 90 year old Cat 10 carbs .
So you put your hand up and say yes i would like one . When they are ready to ship you will be given the price with shipping .You will be given the opportunity to buy things like Brass plates etc . If your happy with the price . you say yes , and send the money , and it will be shipped to you .

Further to the notes above, I would be grateful if you would share with me, either here, or via a PM, your reasons for not wanting to re-join.
If we do not understand why people do not wish to rejoin or renew their membership then we have no information to allow us to review the offering we make to members and see if we can fulfill their needs.
