Hi Mike,
great bit of ingenuity there--looks like something I would cobble up--that lathe must have nearly paid for itself now, let alone the time saving waiting for someone else to get around to do it for you.

Thankyou Eddie, I know that you have spent a lifetime trying to solve these exact same challenges, if the right tool wasn't available, saving Cats is a passion I suffer from, but it's not a business as you know, so everything I buy and do has to fit in a budget.

Blisteringly cold up here again today, no doubt you are the same!

Hi Mike,
the dreaded budget gets in the way of most hobbies/addictions of yellow fever.
Yep, freezing, along with some hail from time to time--ducted heater working OT but feet are cold--BBBrrrrr.

Well I dodged a bullet for sure, got the engine all put back together and fired her up yesterday, I can't believe it didn't bend or bust any valves, but it runs great, took it for a 15 minute walk and all is good.
