Jeff: Thanks for the great remark. Texasbest - It was my Tractor as I found it and then my oldest son helped me restore it. Then He weeeeasled me out of it. It is still one of my favorite collectibles that I have owned.
We was in hopes of getting it out and taking it to a show this summer. Well we all know what went wrong there. When we do get it out and cleaned up will post some pictures of it. Ted

I found the best way to date an old tractor is to be real nice to them visit them at least once a week treat them with tender loving care and bring them little trinkets, like New Old Stock jewelry and nice soft covers for the seats Don’t bring the Chocolates what they like are essential oils, that bright 20s yellow make up and A new pair of shoes or two wouldn’t hurt. Dating them old girls are rather tricky remember they are high maintenance.
Knee slapped there:hail:

Yes I still have the patterns and core box's for the above mentioned items. I was thinking about the first time I made the pattern's and core box for the valve cover. I think it cost $20.00 to post to foundry and if I remember correct it was $75.00 to cast and $30.00 for return to me. I wonder how much it would cost today to do the same thing??
I bet it would cost just the total for all above to just post out and back not including the casting. Posting items has gone out of sight and one can hardly afford it. Really not a good thing. - Ted

Ted, I would be interested in a mag, valve and spark plug cover or 2 if you ever run them again. Can't wait to see some pics of the 30.
Mark, I'm doing good down here, we are still blowing and going at work. If you're tired of that Best 60 yet you can send it on down my way...:biggrin1:

Roby: I will not be making any more but may be selling the core box and patterns for the mag cover (early) and the pattern for the valve cover. It is a lot of work getting them made - post out and back and then posting to each buyer and by then the price is really high. I will let you know if and who I sell them to so you may get some made.
Hope to post a picture of my 30 as we got it out, cleaned it up and took a few pictures of it. We plan on taking it to the Mid States show July 25 week end. If any one is interested in seeing it in person we will be there (weather permitting). Mid States is between Omaha and Lincoln Nebraska and is about tho only show near here this year. If you can make it stop by and shoot the breeze. - Ted = PS - Sorry I have a bad time down loading pictures
