I was wondering if anyone out there know's where to get the alternator conversion bracket for a older d8h, or if some one has a picture or drawing of one, so I can get an idea of what one looks like so I can make one.

Not handy to you but I believe "Florin Tractor" in Ca. stocks them, they are a bit pricey but built right with cooling fan and flex coupling. You will need to have the gear train and drive gear as that's not part of the package.

GM 1 wire alternator, fabricate your bracket to suit your belts. Simple ,no fancy hard to find $ parts. Done.

C C Battery was making this conversion years ago, along with the helix starter drives. Might try them. www.ccbattery.com/index.php

Thanks guys for the help, I will get in contact with the suppliers you guys have suggested and see if still available and see what the price is.
If it is to crazy I will fab one up now that I know what it looks like,

Cut down gutted generator housing is also an option....
