I had a local guy make one for me. Used 1” marine plywood and he used snowmobile rated covering. Good to -20F. I can’t recall if it’s leather. He used the existing boards and I let him use my tub for fitting. He was familiar with tractor seats and just “Stuff”. I was very pleased.

My "seat" is a boat seat.
The seat swivel sort of hooks under the lip of the metal piece that I assume would help hold the OEM seat in place.
However, I am trying to figure out if I should find a more real seat or try to make my boat seat work better. As it is, the seat slides around from side to side and front to back. I need to figure how to hold the seat in place or find a seat that actually fits the tractor.
I have also considered the idea of a couch cushion just to see if it would work okay as the seat is about as wide as a couch cushion, I think.

Who else? John Hahn Seats! Do you get the ACMOC magazine? he advertises in there.
i contacted Mr. Hahn and he said that he sold his business to his son in law. no one has contacted me back so i am unsure if they are still building seats.

BigAgCat get your set secured some how. I am not to hard to please in the looks department. But a bad bump in your path could be life or death if your seat is just sitting there.
If you like how your boat seat sits that works. But for looking behind I have always like the big bench. I gave my method to build a cheap seat in the other tread. But I also believe in adjusting the height of the seat to your body. As well as the back rest distance.

I just made my own, 3/4 plywood with a few vent holes, foam and heavy vinyl bought off ebay. Spray the foam with glue, wrap like a present and staple. It's not as nice as Hahn seats by any means but perfectly fine for a working machine.

I will say, I have recently purchased a
cheap air powered upholstery
gun to recover a 4-wheeler seat and that thing is sweet, wish I had it before as I was using a regular hardware store stapler.
Thanks,
Jordan
