just wondering what you all prefer to do when you got seat-time in a dozer...?
-is it destruction.....construction...
-tillage..farming..
-building yard, building sites...etc...
-building roads, roadways etc...
-ponds or reservoirs...
-ditches..berms..water control and runoff...
-moving earth..dirt..for whatever...
-removing trees and clearing land for agriculture etc....
-making noise, clanking steel, burning fuel...
-all the above..

Add fixing them to the list : )
thanks Neil....i actually thought of that but i wanted to focus more on the operating aspect...
-fixing and repairing is not my favourite part....but i realize for many people it would be....that's very big piece of the puzzle...saving, restoring, rescuing...keeping these old girls running:wink:

HeHeHe! That's right! Yea reminds me of the story from the book "Bulldozer", Bill Glen sets out on his D2 to rescue Betty Barlow stuck in the snow. What a hero! I never could find a pretty girl stuck in the snow! lol

Hi, Folks.
Being away somewhere on my own with nobody else around to interrupt me so that I can go into a 'meditative state' and get on with the job.
I have been tempted many times to toss my cell phone out on the track and keep going.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Rolling nice moist dirt on a warm spring day with my 12 grader. Rome, I was a mechanic in a snow region. Nothing about working in the snow sounds good. Blowing 10 ft drifts was fun until something breaks.
