Two questions? 22 mag gap and D2 upper roller?

I am not sure but should be around .014. I can tell you you can do more damage to a new set of points by using an incorrect or dirty feeler gauge, it should be a brass feeler gauge, anymore I do an eyeball comparison to keep from contaminating the contacts with anything even the brass one. I remember one old timer always used to tell me the thickness of a paper matchbook cover was perfect. Something else you might do is take a 14mm spark plug that the electrode is even with the bottom of the threads cut off the ground tang, hook up and ground the plug, a good hot mag should jump that gap easily,( you can buy them as well with a clamp) if not, you can crank till the cows come home and wear yourself to a frazzle or worse yet, hurt your arm.

Revising an old thread! I just got my Wico Mag back from OLD CROAK MAGNETOS and I was amazed at the service they gave me and the very reasonable price. They also sent me a load of information in several emails. It turns out that .015" is stamped on the inside of the mag, so that settles that question. I dont know if Eismans also has it indicated or not. Next week my pony mag from my D4 goes in the mail to them. Grant.

Biggastractor, I have a parts book but I think that I am short of the operators book. I will look tomorrow and let you know. I really appreciate the offer. Grant.
