Original crank was worn 0.130 out of size and piston was hitting head. We bought the machine this way. We found another 17a with a donor crankshaft.

Nice 17A. You phone needs to be held horizontal (landscape) instead of vertical (portrait) to work on the BB. The phone should always be held horizontal for videos to avoid having a black or blurred image on the sides.

All main bearing oil feed tubes were all tight and clear so we’re crank holes oil pressure was showing good on gauge. It did however have bent pushrods on #2

Looking good!

I think every project tractor, engine etc needs one or more donors. That's how I operate anyway!
D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time:D
