One more pic on the ripper.

The D8 looks very straight and sound, not all beat to pieces like these in timber country. The fenders don't even look like they've ever been torn off. And tin on the track frames yet! It doesn't even look hard used! Somebody must have maintained it. Looks like a heck of a find.

Thanks Brian18a, guess it is a Wooldridge then. Bill told me that he actually works at the former Wooldridge site and there is some archival photos there that he is going to look into.
Jack, being that straight is probably why I was so interested in the old girl. Easier to fix the mechanical problems than bent up,beat up,tore off,welded on wrecks like you mentioned This is as good a foundation I have had a chance to get for a reasonable price that is fairly close to home.

Yes, that is a good looking late 2U D8 with the suposdling low effert steering. I am always adjusting mine. Hydraulic is much better. Again, is neat looking tractor. Lucky to fine one that looks the good. Darrol
