Replied by tctractors on topic Medical update,
Today I called David Moggeridge to enquire as to his state of play , after a simple slip on a patch of ice a few weeks ago, David is 69 years old 6'4" tall and is only happy when he is busy working on something mechanical, with an earth moving theme, anyhow it seems that he has knocked his replacement hip joint loose , but is able to walk about without to much discomfort, also without the aid of walking sticks, as long as he takes things steady, the Vet says he will re-set his loose joint, some time in the future, so all David has to do is keep breathing and things should work out O.K.
Just thought I would keep C2 informed.

TC,
I'm pleased to hear that Dave is on the mend.

Thanks for the pictures, what's the latest status on your D7 3T, is it still painted green?

David the D7 has just sat there looking good, as I have just been so busy with other peoples machinery, anyhow my partner in crime ( C. Prosser ) is giving me a few moans, as I realy need to get this old bird back together. I am also restoring a Scania LBS 140 Super 3 axle tractor unit with the hope of taking them both to shows.

The D9G was serial No 66v 2200, as you say it had a few remnants of the donkey engine still to be found if you know were to look, the driver told me he had it stuck real bad a few days befor it started to play up, it took three days to dig it out and pull it out of it's grave, the draw bar clevis broke off with the amount of strain that was put through it trying to winch it out, I only wish I could have seen that, on Sunday I am taking a lowloader into central London (next to the Ritz Hotel) to perform a dummy run of installing some very large work of art into a location, I am looking forward to ripping your old banger to bits sprocket, taking it to bits cost's little, its the bolting it back together that costs the most.

Sprocket,

What's the info on your new D8, any pictures available?

With regards to TC's new toy are you referring to his new hydraulic puller or his new 4lb lump hammer, or both?
