Look around on the castings. If they are Cat you should be able to find some numbers starting with 5F or 8F. The full numbers won't quite match the part numbers as the casting numbers are a little different but the 5F or 8F will tell whether they are Cat and whether they are early or late cylinders.

those balderson pics help a lot--the cylinders do look similiar to mine but the rear anchor and front triangle support the cylinders pin onto are different, mine look like a cat 2S--but the blade has a balderson tag--Now i am really confused!!!

bought it last fall on e-bay near beantown. The blade has a tag that says
balderson model B2S Serial # 57245
an industrial d311 engine was installed and that is the instrument panel they left there--i will change it though--hard to see while your operating the machine!! The oil pan has been changed to a D2 pan but i have to determine if the oil pump was changed also.

Balderson built blades for Cats, that were so similar to Cat blades, it wasn't funny. They even made up their spec sheets to look like Cat spec sheets. I think you'll find that the hyd cylinders are Cat, though.
