I am in the early stages of planning works visits to two well known heavy plant companies in the South Wales area, KJ PLANT SERVICES & WALTERS.
Hope to have more detail shortly,looking for May/ June visit.

Dai Walters rang today.Looks like second part of the visit will be to a big open cast site.Waiting for confirmation.We may have to hire a mini bus as the two sites are a few miles apart.Would chapter2 help with cost of hire?
Should know more by Friday.

Just had a phonecall from the open cast site manager,the plan for the visit so far, is to visit the open cast in the morning,visit should last one and half hours.they will take us into the big hole in two Landrovers to see machines at work and maintenance being carried out.Then up to KJ Services around midday for eats and a look around.Looks like it will have to be a limit of visitors,12max.Will need to know names who would like to be on the visit.Will fix a date for a Saturday, May/June

Can you get a quote on a mini-bus hire for the day?
When you set a date, Russel Saywell is planning an event on the 1st weekend in June (2nd & 3rd) so you may want to avoid a clash.
