The description narrative (photo) is the centerpiece of the information board placed behind the Sixty on the show line.

As the narrative states - using Butane (propane) required increase in compression.  Sixty heads were "shaved" 3/4"! 
Sixty's in rice --- they were high clearance machines compared to today.  The fenders were cut back or off - and in "wet" years, 4" x 6" blocks from 2' or longer were bolted to alternate track plates.  These "blocks" provided greater surface area allowing the Sixty to wallow through mud and straw, still pulling the combines.  

One can not come close to the experience of being around a Sixty - Mr. Dunning's is no exception, it "speaks" with "authority" and even greater as it showed the "sled" who was the "boss"!
