I remember my time on one of uncle Sam's destroyers, spraying oil seemed very bad.

i wathed further when it got into the reports and depositions for the uscg investigation. all becuase a fuel line was installed incorrectly it let go spraying oil onto the exhuast that didnt have any of the lagging and heat shields the would have prevented the igniting of the oil.
