ridding on yesterday good luck I thought a would go for it and well things escalated quickly. 4.5 hours later there's no turning back. the track frame really came off quite easily I will get the rest of the rollers off and see what I can keep and get started on welding the cracks up I guess.

mog5858 I agree, I was able to get the muffler for the pony with a rain cap flapper on my 8T motor grader today. I agree little victories are motivating 😁

I need a little help trying to find new rollers. mine are too far gone to rebuild I think. cat number is 4F3522 for a double flange and 4f3521 for a single. I crossed them up to a new cat number of 118-1612 118-1611 and 310-4915 but they are all discontinued. so I am looking for aftermarket numbers or if a roller of a newer machine will work as long as the work I don't care if they a sealed or greasable. thanks

4F-3522 cross references to 310-4915
4F-3521 cross references to 310-4912

Check with your Cat dealer before ordering. They are listed as fitting D6N and D5R so they should be available. Parts.cat shows stock in Singapore and Queensland so if it is available to Australia it should be available in North America.

Ask for the track service guy at the dealer, he can [usually] get you a discount on undercarriage parts.

thanks for the help I will look at the new numbers I going to assume I will have to buy or build new end cap or clamps that hold the roles in place. yes, Rome that would be nice I would like to think we have a good relationship with the dealer as we do all their line boring and machine work. but there was also an 11% price hike on everything on June 1. one has just got to love inflation.

your dealer should be able to order from other dealers stock. hastings-deering have ordered parts for me from the states before. so im sure it could work the other way.
