FYI After cleaning the pony tank on my D4 with Muriatic acid and thoroughly rinsing there was a light rust film forming almost immediately from the evaporated water. I then rinsed it with acetone and it stayed nice and clean after that. I also let the sealant dry for a week to make certain it was cured but that may have been overkill.
