Caterpillar twenty-New fluids and belt for fan was created by catjoey18

Is the oil and transmission oil easy to change?What kinds of fluids do I need to buy?or certain brands?Can the fan belt be found still?Is the transmission and engine oil the only two things needed to be changed?or is there more?My serial number is L1316 on this twenty.Thank you-Joey

Trans and final drives use gear lube, 90-140 in my machines, 30 or 40 weight for the engine. There is No fan belt on a Big 20, only on a small 20. Your serial indicates a big 20, it should have over head valves if it is a big 20

i use a universal tractor transmission oil in the trans of my d4. it also does the hydrualics. contact your chosen oil company for a recommendation the owners book does say sae 30 but for most areas that isnt the best choice multigrade oils are much better.
