Hello,
I’m in need of a oil ring part number 1a448. It’s on a n24 cable control unit.   Part not available thru Cat. Anybody have any ideas on how to locate one?   Cat was unable to give me any measurements on it either
many help would be much appreciated!

Try 1A0448, That comes up as a good CAT number

It shows up on AVSPARE.com, an aftermarket parts dealer. Don't know what kind of hoops you would have to jump to get it though.

Are you sure that's not a 1A0446? number? Oil rings, two required.

Check that number again, I show 1A448 to be a piston ring, 3-3/4" x 5/32, .040 OS.
