The lifting device is made up of three fabricated tools, two of which have multiple use.
Consists of FT (fabricated tool) FT515 (lifting beam), FT516 (lifting arm) and FT518 (lifting bracket)
My parts book states the lifting bracket is for use on removing the D6C oil clutch but I see no reason it could not be used on other applications.

Lifting arm works good for lifting the flywheel out too. I used a sheet metal screw and a slide hammer to get the seal out of the flywheel housing. The seal material has turned really soft and almost squishy. I’m guessing that’s the reason it was transferring oil.

BP: I should make one of those tools just for fun, except I'm afraid I might have to use it one day!
I am impressed by how tidy you keep your shop/work areas. I have ventured into some "mechanics" shops and the conditions made me keep on walking, as I ask myself what type of repair person they really are.
Great job on the D4D, we expect to see a video of it somewhere. JM
