Locked up tracks was created by CatMitch
Im restoring a cat ten dozer that has been sitting for 40 plus years, the tracks are completely locked up, ive soaked all the links with kroil and pb blaster but have only managed to get a couple of links freed up, I would appreciate any advice on what to do next.

water works the best  white vinegar or a solution of muratic acid.  if you want to use an oil just use diesel

diesel has always worked best for me....it's a light oil that penetrates everywhere..
