I am getting plenty of pop up advertising now. Did the BB go back to that plan in an attempt to generate some revenue? Or have I been hacked?
How did it work originally? I do not recall seeing any dollar figures. JM

I will be responding to a couple of these latest conversations in due course, when I have time. Just for the record some Directors are spending as much as twenty hours and more a week working for the Club, if some members feel they can do better, please put your hand up and nominate for the BoD next time, maybe in the interim, come and help on some of the committees.

There are issue that I will elaborate more when I have time to respond, They are being addressed, right now I have to attend my neighbor of 35 years funeral and support his family.

At one time if the user was not logged in they would get pop up ads. I have not seen any pop up ads for a long time.

I've been getting the ads also, very annoying!!!!! Get it fixed or shut it down!!!!
I'm about due for membership renewal and this sure doesn't give me a lot of incentive.

Never see them here. I know some sites crack a hissy because i have an add blocker and want me to turn it off. I leave it on and go elswhere.

like Wimmera Farmer I use an AdBlocker also. Some sites can see 20+ adds and it becomes impossible to do anything as well I believe it helps use up my meager pension funded broadband data allowance before the month is up.

As for the ads you only get them if you are logged out, I just tried it as when logged out and no ads when logged in.

A few days ago i had to log back in as the system had logged me out, it seems tobe a recurring thing every 3/4 months.
