Trackson T2 shovel

Trackson T2 shovel was created by gauntjoh
A friend is interested in restoring a Trackson T2 shovel based on a 5U D2.
He is looking for a Parts catalogue and an Operation and Maintenance book.

He believes that Cat used a serial number with prefix 31C on the some of the T2 models but the same number was later used for Brazilian made D4e Tractors.
I wonder if anyone can shed any light on this and if anyone has the T2 manuals they would part with.

Do you have any pictures on what the shovel should looks like?

There is a link to a video of one in the Members Library, see below.
Although the one in the video is based on a J series D2 rather than a U series, I don't think there would be a lot of difference.

Oh right , I was thinking of something else first. But the video really clears out what it is.
Speaking of shovels even the Soviet engineers did there best in designing a bucket/shovel to ease lifting dirt. But in practice all it is good for is lifting saw dust, tried up peat and dirt. If people are interested they can see  the contraption that was invented as a bucket loader for a crawler.

There is a newer version with hydraulic lifts but they are very rare cause it took a lot of time to produce them and the demand was not very high to begin with.

Sorry, it it's off topic.
