I am looking for the model # of the blade on my D4, specifically, I want to get new end cutting edges and am looking for a part number. Any recommendations for where to buy the parts are welcome.
 

That would be a 4S blade, 60" Gauge, serial number from 67E4791-UP. Cutting edge is three piece for the center, 1-4T2983 $68.60 Stock Order Cat, 2-4T2972 $98.69 each Stock Order Cat, RH end bit # 4T3051 $64.63 Cat, LT end bit # 4T3052 $64.63 Cat, 23 Bolts # 3F5108 $1.74 Cat, 23 Nuts # 4K0367 $0.88 Cat. Torque bolts[one end to the other of edge] to 200 ft lbs, strike head with hammer and retighten, make sure surfaces are clean.

Actually your blade is the 67E1-4790 range but the higher serial number blades just went to a three piece cutting edge system and did away with the guard on top of the blade. You also have the two 5J2424 Plate Assem. or angle support brackets at the top corners of the hardnose, these were on the early 78A1-UP tractors.

@Rome K/G - Thank you! And a big thanks for mentioning the support brackets on the hardnose, I assumed they were a fabricobbled add-on. What were those brackets for? ROPS?

Serial # on my tractor is 78A6618

The pins and brackets are factory, used to support the lift cylinders when the blade is removed.

What is the serial number of your blade? I have 8 parts books for the 4S and 4A bulldozer if you are interested in one, but I would want to make sure I match book with your machine.
