Hi Mate. Thank you for that. I’ll drain the tank this arv an pull the tap. Maybe what I’m seeing as “ good flow” could actually be better. Why did they fit this compact pump do we know? Cheers

Early D7F's used the compact fuel injection pump. Late units are sleeve metering pumps. Supplying s/n of the unit would avoid wasted effort trying to decipher bogus information.

Yeh ok, Fair enough, I was going off what the Cat mechanic who was here with me said sorry. I’m under the impression mine is not a early D7F. It’s a 3306 with the 2P transmission in it. 92E2394. 44V. From what I researched before that put it in the Later D7F series dozers?

Near as I can tell without having a 44V Parts Manual Early 92E's had D333C engines with compact pumps 92E1-1050 as did the 3306 at 92E1051-up to 92E2672 when the sleeve metering pump came in so your 92E2394 would be a 3306 with compact pump.
