Hi Mike,
you need to get yourself a One Safe Source book from your Dealer.
They have the common stuff like this in them.
The scan below should help find what you need by size and then cross reference back to the newer part number---we hope.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Thanks for that link Eddie, I have a One Safe Source book, but from 2008-2009, it doesn't list freeze plugs.
All the best
Mike

Hi Mike,
I have not downloaded these to check for said plugs due to almost not having any data download left for this month--am doubling to 50 what evers from 15th this month so we may get by then--data download suddenly doubled from what I used to use since this Covid garbage started due to Disaster Dan's Service Vic log in app. garbage.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Thanks Eddie, but I won't download that copy, I find those bulky files take forever to download, and when I need to use them, I can't ever find them, and have to download them all over again, like that handy Cat Accessory Catalog 1937 thru 1944, I've downloaded all 300 pages half a dozen times! LOL

I'll see if I can get a more recent copy of One Safe Source
All the best
Mike

Hi Mike,
I think I know where you are going wrong, if you go the main home page (1st photo) and you put the modified number in, it will not work I have tried.

It is only when you log in (you must have an account setup) as per the photos below, this is what you see when you input the modified  part number.

Regards

Daryl

Thanks John for doing that, I'll check it out.

Hello Daryl, thanks for your extra research, I am logging in to my Cat account, but I don't go the extra step of ordering the part, if the first page doesn't offer even a description of the part using the old part number, I don't bother going any further, I just assume Cat no longer supply the part, then I go over to the Machinery Trader website and see if that offers the part under its original number, or under a new part number, if that doesn't work, I end up here asking for help.
Thanks for your help
Mike
