Is there a difference between the fuel tank on a 14A and 46A? Trying to get this winch setup on the 46A and there are no mounting holes in the bottom of the tank for the controls to mount to. The holes are in the top of the tank, just not the bottom. The 14A tank on the parts machine has all the holes. Wondering if they are the same just paint and switch tanks.

Hi,
which brand and model of winch are you fitting.
if it is a Hyster winch then the Allied web site has the manuals for the Hyster winches in their archives and these usually detail how to fit the controls--from memory the controls mount on the side of the operators seat tub for Hyster winches for these model tractors.

Hope this helps.
Cheers,

Hi Again,
got called away, so now if you are talking about a Cat rear double drum Cable Control for these model machines then the lower vertical tree lever mount is a self aligning bearing block that mounts to a cross member under the floor plates--from memory the taped holes may be there from the factory.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

edb, sorry for the delay in response, life is beyond crazy right now. It is a #29 CCU. The controls are just as you said except the ones that were taken off the 14A screwed into tapped mounting holes in the tank. Just like the top mounting plate does. I can make a bracket to mount it to the floor plate. But thought it would be easier to just switch tanks. The lower mount of the hydraulic control lever mounts as you stated. I will need to move that forward to clear the CCU control levers.
