D4 engine swap was created by Farmer12

I’ve got a D4 SN 4G9986 with a locked motor. There’s a guy parting out a 6U4945 with a good motor, do any of you know if that motor will fit my 4G? It’s a newer engine obviously I just don’t know enough about these old crawlers to know if it’s the same engine.

Yes the engines can be interchanged....

i suppose that the radiator group from the D315 would have to make the swap also?

I was planning on getting the radiator as well anyway as mine is pretty well rotted out. What would an engine and radiator be worth?

i was referring to the castings that hold the radiator because of the way that it is mounted to the engine. it could be the same on the d4400 i just don't know. no idea of price.
