So I'm starting a new thread in the hopes more people see this. I'm rebuilding a d7c dozer flywheel clutch and have almost all the parts. Still waiting on a couple. But the idler gear shaft for the lube pump is different. The old one clearly goes through the center of the shaft while the new one is updated to go through the side to increase strength so it dosnt break, as mine did. Does anybody know about this and have any work around? Old shaft pn is 9f6658 and it updates to 7h1307. I have a new one and cannot find an old one to replace it.

Hi Team,
here is a Service Bulletin, Dated June 27 1956, on this subject for the following machines :- D7, D8 and D9 oil clutch oil pump shaft modification.

Also found a Product Bulletin article on a Larger Pump Drive Pin Hole in the Pressure Plate--also given is how to modify an old Part Number P/Plate.

I Found no more mods for the D7 oil clutch after these 2 in the literature I have here which covers from January 1949 to April 1962.
Hope these help.
Cheers,
Eddie B.
