Thank you everyone for the great information. The detailed drawings helped a lot. Looks like everything is in order except the pressure release cable. I'm going to try and salvage the original ends and install a new rod.

Yes I know that I'm a Richard Cranium with confusers but everything seems to be different or maybe inconsistent in the way this BB works or is it just me--I used all my months allowance of internet down load when using this non co-operative BB looking for Tech. Lib. items--seems Firefox is as yet not compatible with this BB--Thanks Neil P for helping find this out and for on going work here--maybe it needs to have a light weight version for us old farts on a pension with small internet download plans.

I'm using Firefox and Windows 10 and other than being slower than the second coming to load it works fine.

if you copy and paste the word into the search box make sure that it is hard left in the box , ie ,no space

try alemite them selves they may have parts. the company still exists.

if not a bowden cable can be adapted these are used as throttle and clutch cables on motorbikes push bikes use'm too so any good shop that does classic bike repairs should have the ends they crimp and solder in place the best cutters to cut the spiral wire cable are sliding parrot beak cable shears like used for heavy electric cable as they cut without fraying due to the bundling action.

failing that a modern alemite pistol grip grease gun is capable of low pressure operation to set it for low pressure you push the handle towards the body and slide the link down to the low pressure high volume notch. or course you will need the correct adapter fitted to the hose. that all i use it works just fine no need to have the volume compressor and a normal grease gun. just remember only one to 2 shots of grease is sufficient.

I was able to salvage both ends of the pressure relief cable. I replaced the cable and everything seems to be ok. I might have to adjust the pressure relief a little but I think it's close I got the pump tuned up. Thank you to everyone who offered information.
