Hi, Folks.
Here izza link to a Youtube video which shows a track front end loader which I am unable to identify. Does anybody have any ideas on what make and/or model it might be? The machine begins appearing at around 27.56 minutes into the video.
Any help will be much appreciated.

At the end of the video it says its an Allis Chalmers 12g. Mid sixties vintage. I hope piston rings are still available after all the Either they ran it on.

Hi, Folks.
Thanks for the responses. AC track loaders never got popular DowNunda and the only one I ever saw was a 6G. I wondered about that solid plate front end, especially when I saw the man up there waving a fuel hose around between the sweeps.

Didn't these have a 6-71? If I remember correctly, I think I saw one twenty some years ago at an abandoned gold prospect in the Panamint Mountains below Ballarat (west of Death Valley). Resting away in 'retirement'.

There was a surprisingly large number of these working in transfer stations in the New York city area in the early 80s
None of the ones that I remember had Detroit's; it's possible the engine was their own design.
The radiators in the rear help to keep them clean in the dusty environment
The fact that the PTO shaft that ran to the back of the machine for the fans lasted the day always amazed me

Somewhere around 57 to 58 Allis Chalmers dropped Detroit Diesel and used Buda engines. Several years latter AC bought the Buda engine company.

Yes it is a 12g ALLIS CHALMERS motor 11000 ALLIS CHALMERS and this tractor have the undercarriage HD16B on and transmission,final drive, stering cluch,bevel gear are the same from HD11 but not the torque.
